SEA-US

Guam / Hongkong / Los Angeles

The Southeast Asia-United States (SEA-US) Cable is the first cable that was built by RTI. It spans 11,100km connecting Guam to Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. via Honolulu, Hawaii, U.S.A. The initial design capacity is 20Tbps (100Gbps x 100wl x 2fp) and is shared with five consortium members. SEA-US has been in service since August 2017.

    The Piti-1 Cable Landing Station (CLS) is situated west of the Tamuning district at Piti, Guam. Piti-1 houses the SEA-US Cable System and the JGA South Cable System.
    Also located next to the existing Piti-1 CLS is GNC that houses the JGA North Cable System and is planned to house the HK-G Cable System.
    Piti-1/GNC will provide onward connectivity to other cable landing facilities on the island.

  • Honolulu DRFortress

  • Los Angeles RTI Hermosa Beach (HMB)

    Located at Hermosa Beach, south of Los Angeles International Airport. It is an ideal location to land a submarine cable and to extend the cable systems to downtown Los Angeles through multiple dark fiber routes.

    CoreSite LA2 is located close to Union Station in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Together with the most interconnected data center in North America "One Wilshire" (LA1), CoreSite's LA campus offers unbeatable connectivity. JGA-N

Guam / Hongkong / Los Angeles

The Japan-Guam-Australia North (JGA North) Cable is the first cable that will be wholly owned by RTI. It spans 2,700km connecting Tokyo, Japan and Guam. The initial design capacity is 24 Tbps (100Gbps x 120wl x 2fp). JGA North entered in to service in July 2020.

    @Tokyo's Chuo Data Center (CC1) is located in the heart of Tokyo close to the Marunouchi financial district. With a total floor area of 140 thousand square meters, it is @Tokyo7s flagship data center. For more information, visit @Tokyo's site at: https://www.attokyo.com/

  • Tokyo NTT Minami-Boso CLS

    This purpose-built cable landing station, owned and operated by NTT Communications, is located near the southern tip of Boso Peninsula, approximately 100km south of Tokyo. RTI will install submarine line terminal equipment in this newly built facility which will enable us to provide connectivity to adjacent cable landing stations.

    The Piti-1 Cable Landing Station (CLS) is situated west of the Tamuning district at Piti, Guam. Piti-1 houses the SEA-US Cable System and the JGA South Cable System.
    Also located next to the existing Piti-1 CLS is GNC that houses the JGA North Cable System and is planned to house the HK-G Cable System.
    Piti-1/GNC will provide onward connectivity to other cable landing facilities on the island.

JGA-S

Guam / Hongkong / Los Angeles

The Japan-Guam-Australia South (JGA South) Cable is the first cable that will also land on the eastern seaboard of Australia other than Sydney. It spans 7,000km connecting Sydney, Australia and Guam, with a branch to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. The initial design capacity is 36Tbps (100Gbps x 180wl x 2fp) and is jointly owned with two consortium members. JGA South entered in to service in February 2020.

    Equinix SY4 is located south of the Sydney CBD near Sydney's Kingsford Smith International Airport. Located on the same campus, SY4 provides easy access to SY1, SY2, SY3 and SY5.   • Sydney Brookvale CLS

    Brookvale is the cable landing station for the Southern Cross Cable. It is located approximately 15km north of the Sydney CBD. All capacity is directly sent to Equinix SY4 via redundant terrestrial fiber and does not terminate at the Brookvale CLS.

JGA-S Sunshine Coast

Guam / Hongkong / Los Angeles

The Sunshine Coast branch is the first cable that will land on the eastern seaboard of Australia other than Sydney. It spans 700km connecting the Sunshine Coast, Queensland to an ROADM branching unit on JGA South. This new branch will deliver connectivity from the Sunshine Coast to Guam and onwards, while providing much needed diversity between Brisbane, Queensland and Sydney. The Sunshine Coast branch is wholly owned by RTI in partnership with the Sunshine Coast Council ... and entered in to service in July 2020.

  • Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) CLS

    The Maroochydore cable landing station is located in the heart of Sunshine Coast, approximately 100km north of Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland, Australia. Owned and operated by the local Sunshine Coast Council, this purpose-built facility provides colocation and connectivity to Brisbane and the North-Eastern parts of Australia.

HK-G

Guam / Hongkong / Los Angeles

The Hong Kong-Guam (HK-G) cable was planned to meet the capacity demands coming in and out of Hong Kong. Once completed, it will span 3,700km directly connecting Hong Kong, SAR and Guam. The initial design capacity is 48Tbps (100Gbps x 120wl x 4fp) and is jointly owned with one other consortium member. HK-G is scheduled to enter in service in early 2023.

The Hong Kong-America (HKA) cable is a consortium cable that was planned to meet the capacity demands between Hong Kong and U.S.A. Once completed, it will span 13,000km directly connecting Hong Kong, SAR and Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. RTI will own half a fiber pair on HKA ... and is scheduled to enter in service in early 2023.
